The Port Arthur Police Department responded to the following calls from May 7-13:

Wednesday, May 7
• A woman reported that someone used her credit card, charging more than $1,000 on her account.
• A wallet, custom jewelry and cell phone were stolen from the 900 block of 13th Street.

Thursday, May 8
• The hood of a 1999 Ford Explorer was damaged in the 6100 block of 13th Street.
• A person was charged with theft after leaving Wal-Mart with $52 worth of clothing without paying for the items.
• A person was charged with theft at Wal-Mart.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1900 block of 12th Street.
• About $200 in cash was stolen from the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
• An aggravated robbery was reported in the parking lot of Speedy Mart.
• A home in the 1400 block of Lincoln was burglarized and $500 in cash stolen.
• A computer and television were stolen from Wal-Mart.

Friday, May 9
• An officer recovered several firearms in the 800 block of El Paso Avenue.
• A gas powered mower and several items of clothing were stolen from Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
• Several people were arrested for possession on a controlled substance and marijuana at Crawdad’s.

Saturday, May 10
• A wallet with identification cards and credit cards were stolen from a home in the 4700 block of Redbird.

Sunday, May 11
• A carton of Kool brand cigarettes and a case of Budweiser light were stolen from Food Mart, 100 Gulfway Drive.
• A television, men’s watch, four pairs of men’s shoes and other assorted men’s clothes were stolen from Poole Avenue Apartment Homes.
• A 1998 Honda Civic was burglarized at the Shire Apartments.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana in the 6200 block of Willow.
• A 1999 Honda Civic was stolen from the 2400 block of Fifth Avenue.

Monday, May 12
• A female juvenile was found to be in possession of marijuana at Edison Middle School.
• A window at Franklin Elementary was shattered by a rock.
• A person was arrested for evading arrest in the 6000 block of Twin City Highway.
• Copper wiring from an air conditioning unit was stolen from First Baptist Church.
• A rock was used to shatter a large window at Bree’s House of Fashion.
• An assault was reported at Rampart Apartments.
• An aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief were reported in the 1000 block of West 13th Street.

Tuesday, May 13
• A VCR/DVD player was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of 13th Street.
• A teenage girl reported she was cut with a knife during an assault at a bus stop in the 4000 block of Lewis Drive.
• The Port Arthur Alternative Campus was burglarized. It is not known if any items were stolen.
• Women’s diamond rings, CD’s and assorted change were stolen from a 2007 Dodge Charger in the 4800 block of Seventh Street.
• A 2001 Dodge Ram was stolen from a business in the 5700 block of Gulfway Drive. The victim told police he left his keys in the ignition.
• A man was assaulted with a four-foot long wooden dowel rod in the 900 block of 15th Street.
