The Groves Police Department answered the following calls from Wednesday, May 7, through Tuesday, May 13.

Wednesday, May 7
• A vehicle was scratched while parked in the 5100 block of E. Parkway.
• A 41-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• A 31-year-old male was arrested on Nederland warrants after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 5400 block of E. Parkway.
• A 49-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana when officers were called in reference to an intoxicated subject threatening EMS and fire personnel in the 6200 block of Gulfway.
• A 31-year-old male was arrested on Nederland warrants after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 2600 block of Main.
• A nickel plated .45 caliber Springfield gun was stolen from the 5100 block of Lincoln.

Thursday, May 8
• A citizen reported identity theft after her name was used to set up a utility account.
• An assault report was taken in the 3900 block of Lincoln.
• A 55-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest in the 3300 block of Bryan.
• A 64-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana and a Refugio County warrant in the 2600 block of Twin City.

Friday, May 9
• The driver of a 1994 white Chevrolet truck struck another vehicle in the 2500 block of Main Avenue and then left the scene.
• A vehicle theft was reported in the 3300 block of Lay Avenue.
• A purse and a cell phone were stolen from the 6100 block of 39th Street.

Saturday, May 10
• An assault report was made in the 6300 block of 32nd Street.
• A 41-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3200 block of Boyd.
• A 40-year-old female was arrested on Jefferson County warrants in the 6200 block of Dave.
• A 37-year-old-male was arrested on Indiana warrants in the 2700 block of Boyd.
• A 24-year-old male was arrested for digging out and evading arrest in the 3100 block of Cherry.
• Someone broke out the window of a vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• Officers were called to investigate a disturbance in progress in the 2700 block of Montrose.

Sunday, May 11
• A 34-year-old male was arrested on traffic violations in the 5000 block of Woodlawn.
* An 18-year-old male was arrested on Groves warrants in the 3100 block of Hickory.
• While investigating a theft in the 5300 block of Gulfway, officers arrested a juvenile on a directive to apprehend a warrant.
• An Asian male reportedly exposed himself to a female juvenile in the 6900 block of 32nd Street.
• A cell phone and cash were stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A citizen reported that someone shot her dog with a pellet gun injuring it in the 2600 block of Ruby.

Monday, May 12
• A 20-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
• A 43-year -ld male was arrested for DWI after he was seen traveling in the wrong lane of traffic in the 6900 block ofp32nd Street.
• A 32 year old male was arrested for Public intoxication in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• A red 2002 Ford truck was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• Seven brass yard solar lights were stolen from the 4800 block of Simpson.
• A storage building was entered in the 3900 block of Cleveland.
• A Dewalt grinder and drill were stolen from a garage in the 3100 block of Boyd.

Tuesday, May 13
• A disturbance was investigated in the 5800 block of 25th Street.
• A disturbance was investigated in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• Cash was stolen from a business in the 3800 block of Main.
• A pair of hearing aids were stolen from the 3200 block of Cherry.
• A yard statue was stolen from the 5500 block of Baird.
• A 31-year-old male is being investigated for DWI after he was involved in a vehicle crash in the 6800 block of 25th Street.
