PORT NECHES —
Todd Anthony Scott, 46, of Port Neches, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born on September 29, 1967 in Orange, Texas to Guy Rubin Scott and the late Donna Sue Franklin Scott. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and was a member of Pipefitter Local #195. He has been a correctional officer since 1993, first with the state at Larry Gist State Jail and then with the Federal Prison.
Todd enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing; and truly enjoyed his football especially the Texans.
Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Barney Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Todd is survived by his wife, Angela Scott of Port Neches; father, Guy Rubin Scott of Port Arthur; daughters, Chelsea Scott Brewer and husband, Joshua of Port Neches, Caitlyn Scott, Chloe Scott, and Connor Scott all of Port Neches; sister, Michelle Gobert of Nederland; niece, Brittany Hickling of Nederland; and nephew, Colby Gobert of Nederland. He is preceded in death by his mother; brother, Guy Edward Scott; and brother-in-law, Donald Gobert.
