PORT ARTHUR —    Floyd James Doucet, Sr., of Port Arthur died Monday, December 2, 2013 at home.  He was a resident of Port Arthur for 56 years and he was retired.  He was a member of St. James Catholic Church until his death.

    A visitation is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church with Father Coon officiating.  Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

   Survivors include: spouse of 32 years, Debra Doucet; son Floyd Doucet, Jr.; daughter Porcha Doucet-Williams (Michael); sisters, Mary and Diane Doucet of Port Arthur, TX; brothers Harold (Betty), Howard of Port Arthur, TX and Calvin Doucet of Cleburne, TX; grandson, whom he adored Glancey Kelly of Port Arthur; brothers-in-law, William (Marva) Bernard and Edgar Bernard of Arlington, TX; sisters-in-law Mona Bernard of Fort Worth, TX; and Gert Frank of Sugar Land, TX; he also leaves devoted friends Dwight Snowden and Willard Brannon of Port Arthur; uncle, Wallace (Doris) Guidry of Houston, TX.

   He was preceded in death by son Donald Adrian Doucet and parents Mr. & Mrs. Harold Joseph Doucet.
