Linda B. Earles passed away on November 3rd 2013. Linda was born September 7th, 1948, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Irben Leviege Sr. and Doris Leviege. She was a member of the New Sixth Street Baptist Church and a graduate of the Lincoln High School of 1966. She attended Lamar State College, formerly know as Port Arthur College.
In 1969 she moved to California and married her childhood sweetheart, Fletcher Garrie Earles, Jr. She dedicated her time as a fulltime mother and wife. With all of her children grown she became a teacher’s assistant at Franklin Childcare. She was a faithful member of the North Gardena Congregation of Jehovah for over 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38years, Fletcher Earles Jr.; grandparents, Freeman Simon Sr., and Osburk Simon; parents, Irben Leviege Sr. and Doris Leviege; and brother, Dr. Vernon Leviege.
She leaves behind five children, Manuel Earles, Daniel Earles, Donna Earles, Fletcher Earles III, and Fredrick Earles; four grandsons and two granddaughters; three brothers, Irben Leviege Jr. Ronnie Leviege, and Roman Leviege; four aunts, Helen Williams, Alice Simon Ridgle, Annie Simon and Wilma Johnson; with a host of others relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday November 16th in Gardena California, under the direction of South Los Angeles Mortuary.
