Irby Judice, Jr.

Irby Judice, Jr., 72, of Fannett, died Thursday, April 17, 2014. He was born on September 5, 1941, to Hazel Granger Judice and Irby St. Cyr Judice, in Port Arthur. Irby was a terminal trainmaster for Kansas City Southern Railroad, having retired with over thirty years of service. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Cooks 2 Dozen + Inc. Following his retirement, his passion was his family, visiting with friends, hunting, his horses, and cattle.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Judice; children, Sabrina Miguez and her husband, Gary, of Fannett; Nicole Manuel of Groves; Brandy Freeman and her husband, Bryan, of Buna; and Karen Fontenot of Silsbee; grandchildren, Layne Miguez, Kadyn Miguez, Chelsea Manuel, Christa Manuel, Hagen Freeman, Hope Freeman, and Misty Stratton-Redmon; great-grandchildren, Coby Lyles, Corey Lyles, and Amanda Redmon; and brother, Bobby Judice and his wife, Sandy, of Port Arthur.

A Christian Vigil for Mr. Judice will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a gathering of his family and friends to follow, Monday, April 21, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
