Sharon Saletha Jones Dupree (“Peet” to family “Peaches” to her friends) was a life long resident of Port Arthur, Texas. She departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Peaches was a 1979 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School. She was a member  of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Delton Narcisse.

   She was a very loving and giving person. Even during her time of illness, she was always thinking and caring for others.

   Visitation will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Delton Narcisse officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

   She leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Darrellyn Amiracle Minkins of Port Arthur; two sons, Jerry Wayne Dupree of Port Arthur and Kerry Wayne Dupree (Tanasha) of Kansas; two grandsons, Elijah Dupree and Cyshawn Dupree; sister, Grace Jones Bolden of Houston; three brothers, Donald Lee Jones, Dwight Wayne Jones and Toney B. Jones all of Port Arthur; two sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Jones and Bertha Jones and two uncles, Johnnie Jones (Linda) of Houston and Thomas Taylor of California and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.
