PORT ARTHUR —
Doris “Jeannie” Jones, 60, of Port Arthur, TX, passed away on Jan. 24, 2013 at Christus St. Mary. She was born July 1, 1952 to Herbert “B.B.” Baker Sr. and Thelma Baker. She was a lifelong native of Port Arthur, TX where she graduated from Lincoln High in 1970. She went on to receive a degree from Lamar University and began a career at Valero “Gulf” where she worked for over 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert “B.B.” and Thelma Baker; her brother Hebert Baker Jr. and her sister, Dorothy Foreman. She is survived by her children, Andrew (Christina) Hall; Tony (Nicole) Hall Sr., Timothy (Yvonne) Hall, Andreana Hall and Willie “Tre” Jones, III. She will be truly missed by her 11 grandchildren, Tony Hall, Jr., Jacinta (Guy) Henderson, Dionne and Simone Hall, Ciera, Courtni, Alissa and Arin Hall, Aundrea, Alexander and Clarisa Hall. Also 3 great grandchildren, Chanel Hall, Guy “Santana” Hall, III and Trinaty Hall. As well as 4 sisters, Bobbie Dorsey, Mary Carter, Elinor “Kid” (Eddie) Joseph, Emma (Percy) Williams; aunt, Mattie Morrow and a very dear friend Wesstell Walker; and a host of additional cherished family members and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Thomas Blvd. Church of Christ with a viewing from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
