Jimmy Dale Womack, Jr.

ORANGE —    Jimmy Dale Womack, Jr., 57, of Orange, died Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Orange. He was born on July 9, 1956, to Vivian Cappadonna Womack and Jimmy Dale Womack, Sr., in Freeport, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Jimmy was a United States Marine Corps veteran; and he was an operator with Total Petrochemicals and Refinery, Port Arthur.

   Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Womack of Orange; children, Jimmy Dale Womack III and Josh Womack, both of Orange; Misty Wright of Port Acres; and Richard Rogers and his wife, Chantell, of Nederland; grandchildren, Fianna Wright, Dustin Rogers, and Chase Rogers; mother, Vivian Birdwell and her husband, Enlow Winfred; brother, David Womack of Los Angeles, California; sister, Wendy Parker and her husband, Bob, of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Celeste Jefferson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

   He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Dale Womack, Sr.; and his granddaughter, Alexandra.

   A gathering of Mr. Womack’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.  His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Broussard’s, with a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., at Chinquapin Cemetery, Chinquapin Cemetery Road, San Augustine.
