PORT ARTHUR —
Mr. Clarence “Pop” Johnson, 56, of Port Arthur, Texas died Sunday at St. Mary’s Dubuis Hospital.
He was a member of Abraham Lincoln High School class of 1976.
Clarence worked for Ameripol Synpol and retired with 23 years of service, as an operator. He later worked at Larry Gist as a correctional officer in food service until his health failed.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Patricia, 2 sons; Orethel Francios, and Quintin Johnson; daughter Ladonna P. Cotton, all of Port Arthur, Texas., Grandchildren; Camryn Jenkins, Treylon Deshawn Ratcliff, and Jacorey Wilson Ratcliff, Brother; Melvin Crosby and niece Angie of Port Arthur, Texas and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with rosary starting at 9:30 A.M. and viewing 8:00 A.M. until service time with Father Stephen McCrae officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Port Arthur, Texas.
