Roy L. McClure, 84, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

Roy was born November 13, 1928 in Cooper, Texas to Carl Neil McClure and Rudie Norine Harwood McClure.  He was a longtime area resident and retired chemical engineer from DuPont with over 40 years of service. He was on several bowling leagues for over 40 years and a member of the ROTC at Texas A&M.

  Survivors include his wife, Laura McClure of Port Neches; three children, Julie Fitzgerald and husband, Mike of Tomball, Patrick McClure and wife, Julie of Beaumont, Jim McClure of Fort Lauderdale; four step children; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

   Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Bobby H. Aid officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

   Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
