Willette Dionne, 82, of Katy, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013. She was born on May 12, 1930, to Louise Brewer Gierisch and William Charles Gierisch, in Houston. Before moving to Katy, Mrs. Dionne lived in Nederland. She was an active member at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Women’s Group and a member of the Port Arthur Service League.
She is survived by her daughters, Lou Ann Scott and her husband, Roland, of Sugarland and Peggy Wysocki and her husband, David, of Olakle, Kansas; son, David Dionne and his wife, Vickie, of Nederland; grandchildren, Paul Scott, Nancy Scott Deaver, Matthew Dionne, Michael Dionne, and Aaron Dionne; and two great-grandchildren.
A gathering of Mrs. Dionne’s family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2013, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 2425 Nall Street, Port Neches. Her interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dionne; and her parents.
