Helen Landry Vincent, 88, of Port Neches, died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Gulf Coast Health Care, Port Arthur. She was born August 15, 1925, to Leonie and Medeo Landry in Andrew, Louisiana. Helen was a great cook who enjoyed working crossword puzzles, sewing, and traveling while her children were young. She loved spending time with her family.
Helen is survived by her husband, Leedward Vincent; daughter, Pearl Pool and her husband, Robert, of Port Neches; sons, Ron Vincent and his wife, Pat, of Montgomery; Paul Vincent and his wife, Pam, of Beaumont; and Joey Vincent and his wife, Judy, of Nederland; grandchildren, Brandy Vincent, Brian Vincent, Hazel Reidy, Daniel Pool, Shayla McLaurin, Brandon Vincent, and Joshua Vincent; and great-grandchildren, Breanna Bailey and Cullen McLaurin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Gladys Landry.
A gathering of Mrs. Vincent’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Christian Vigil to begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
