Lillian Annie Myers

   Lillian Myers, aged 98 of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was a 74 year resident of Port Arthur. Lillian was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 24, 1915 to William D. and Lillie Janson Ramey, Sr. She was a 1933 graduate of South Park High School and was a retired bookkeeper. Lillian was of the Methodist faith.

   She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Loyd William Myers, sisters Annette Dugas and Doris Boutin, sisters-in-laws Jewel Sanders and Stell Chappell, grandson Scott Humphries. Lillian is survived by her daughter Barbara and husband J. B. Humphries of Mobile, Alabama, brother, William D. and wife Evelyn Ramey, Jr. of Houston, Texas, first cousin Thelma Mueller of Houston, grand children, Jim and wife Katrina Humphries, Holly and husband Rhett Gray and Clay Humphries, three great grandsons, one great granddaughter, three nieces and five nephews.

   Lillian was a guardian angel to the many pets who passed through her life, a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan and a gifted rose gardener.  She will be greatly missed.

   Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with graveside service to be held immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Park with her brother-in-law Wallace Chappell of Dallas officiating.
