Timmy Ward DeBlanc, 46, of Houston, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 21, 2013, after a heroic battle with cancer.
Timmy was born in Lafayette, LA on August 28, 1967 to Donald DeBlanc and Lorena Guidry. He was reared in Port Arthur, TX and at the age of six, was baptized at First Sixth Street Baptist Church by the late Rev. Dr. Ransom Howard. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1985 and earned and engineering degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX in 1988.
On July 16, 1994, he married Tracy Knight and to this union 2 beautiful daughters were born. He relocated to Houston, TX, placed his membership with Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church under the direction of Rev. William A. Lawson and enjoyed a prosperous and blessed life until his departure.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald DeBlanc, Sr., one brother, Larry DeBlanc, Sr., and one nephew, Larry DeBlanc, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Tracy DeBlanc and 2 precious daughters, Jasmine DeBlanc and Arie DeBlanc, all of Houston, TX, his devoted mother, Lorena Guidry of Port Arthur, TX, grandmother, Mercedes White of Rayne, LA, and mother-in-law Louise Knight of Port Arthur, TX, one brother, Donald (Delores) DeBlanc, Jr. of Beaumont, TX, one sister, Gwen DeBlanc of Palos Verdes CA, Godfathers, Dandrige White of Rayne, LA and Richard Coleman of Houston, TX, Godmothers Mercedes Grace of Rayne, LA and Mary Etta LeBlanc of Port Arthur, TX, two sisters-in-law, Renee (Larry) Wilson of Suffolk, VA and Yolanda Knight of Woodbridge, VA, Four Godchildren, Ransom White, Chase Johnson, Troy Williams, Jr. and Sapora Reed, six nephews and nieces, David, Darrell, Alana, Alliannah,LeTerrius and Derrius and a grand host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will begin at 10am followed by the funeral service at 11am Friday, November 29, 2013 at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church 3826 Wheeler Avenue with Dr. Marcus Cosby officiating.
