Chad Mitchell Thompson
Chad Mitchell Thompson was born on July 11, 1970 to Mark and Claudia Thompson. He left us on March 21, 2008 doing what everyone knew him for, helping someone else in need. Chad lived his life in the Mid-County area all but 7 years that were spent traveling for his job. He married Dawn Michelle Lindsey on May 7, 1993. Three beautiful loving children followed shortly after. Chad was involved in little league football coaching as soon as Taylor could play at the age of 5 yrs old, with the Slidell Cowboys (his favorite team), then over to the Denham Spring Patriots, then finally finished up with the first Port Neches League with Tanner finishing up. This became a love of the family, and a family sport. Chad and Michelle coached, the boys played and Hannah Cheered. He was and still is an outstanding Father, always involved in the boys playing football never missing a game, and Hannah cheerleading never missed a competition, the loudest one at all events. A loyal friend to all that knew him to the end, call and he would be there no matter what. Chad earned his Eagle Scout thru the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, an honor not many fulfilled, and something he was very proud of. A loving, Caring, and devoted husband to Michelle for 15 awesome years, a devoted daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend.
A visitation will be held from 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
