Senior Line: Gospel singer to perform Friday

NEDERLAND — Buddy Moss, a gospel singer will be perform at 10 a.m. Friday. Nov. 9.  He is great and so come early to get a good seat.  If you want to stay for lunch, let us know.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, the Lamar Student Nurses will be back to entertain us and they always have a very interesting program.

Tuesday, Nov. 20, is the meal of the month so make your reservation early since Diane has to let the Nutrition center in Beaumont know how many to prepare for.  The menu is great that day.

The schedule is as follows:

Mondays, games of your choice or movie.

Tuesday and Thursday...games of your choice.

Wednesday, quilting.

Friday.. Bingo with prizes.

The Nederland Senior Citizen Center is located at 914 Boston Ave., Nederland.  The phone number is 727-5230.  The Center is open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and reservations are needed, so if you would like to eat lunch, call Diane so she can make your reservation.

The center is a place where seniors can come and visit, get a snack and chat, read the paper, watch TV of play games of your choice.  So come on down, you might meet an old friend or make a new one.  Everyone is welcome.  Hope to see you real soon.
