Painting sessions are held each Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Texas Artists Museum, located at 3501 Cultural Center Drive in Port Arthur. Painting sessions are held each Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Texas Artists Museum, located at 3501 Cultural Center Drive in Port Arthur. September classes will focus on swamp scenes, while October’s session will emphasize still life. “It’s our passion,” Guild treasurer Joyce McNeely said of the group’s painting sessions. “It is just something we are born to do.” To register for the class or to inquire about the supply list, e-mail Lafleur at laflleursv@yahoo.com. The Guild membership fee is $10 for an entire year.
