Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from Oct. 7- Oct. 13:

Wednesday, Oct. 7
• A 25-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5000 block of 32nd Street.
• A 44-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3300 block of Twin City Highway.
• A 49-year-old male was arrested for assault after a disturbance in the 2700 block of Third Avenue.
• Someone spray painted and broke a window on a vehicle parked in the 6200 block of Gulfway.

Thursday, Oct. 8
• No reports filed

Friday, Oct. 9
• Someone broke out the rear window of a truck parked in the 4700 block of Bellaire and stole a Tom Tom brand GPS.
• An 8- foot Bale feeder from the 6400 block of Carolina.

Saturday, Oct. 10
• Police investigated the burglary of a habitation in the 6300 block of Terrell after a Hispanic male forced his way into the residence.
• A Dell Laptop computer and a color TV were stolen from the 5400 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Gang related graffiti was spray painted in a restroom at 5000 32nd Street.
• A black .32 Kel-Tec semi auto pistol was stolen from the 6300 block of Val.
• A Pioneer Super Tuner CD player was stolen from a vehicle in the 5400 block of Baird.

Sunday, Oct. 11
• A 47 year old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 31-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication after a disturbance was reported in the 5300 block of North.
• A disturbance was investigated in the 3800 block of Canal.
• Someone stole a black Honda generator and a Poulan chain saw from a garage in the 3200 block of Woodlawn.
• An assault was reported in the 6400 block of Hanson.
• A vehicle window was broken out on a vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive. Nothing appeared to be missing.
• An aggravated robbery was investigated in the 6200 block of 25th Street. The victim reported that three black males forced open the door of his residence and assaulted him and stole his cell phone and wallet.
• A blue Briggs and Stratton generator and a radar detector were stolen from a garage in the 2300 block of Crescent.

Monday, Oct. 12
• A Playstation III, DVD’s and clothing were stolen from an apartment in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 37-year-old male was arrested for injury to an elderly person and aggravated assault after officers were called to investigate an assault in the 5200 block of Whitaker.
• A 32 year old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 2500 block of Main.

Tuesday, Oct. 13
• Someone broke into a house by removing a window air conditioning unit in the 3400 block of Newton and stole assorted change.
• Three coin operated machines were broken into in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• A house was broken into in the 3200 block of Allison. A Remington 700, a Crosman air pellet gun, bullets and change were stolen.
• A 22-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3300 block of Doyle.
