Sheriff’s office seeking dangerous fugitive

— The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Warrant Division is asking the publics assistance in locating a serial narcotic distributor. The warrant division is attempting to locate: Daniel Ignacio Alameda, age 30. He is described as being 5-foot 3-inches in height and 150 pounds with brown eyes. Distinguishing tattoos include "St. Muerte and Pit bull" on his left shoulder and “ALAMEDA” on his abdomen.

Alameda is aware of the two outstanding warrants for delivery of a controlled substance with a $300,000 bond. He has altered his appearance by shaving his head and has gone into hiding. He is believed to still be in the area and in regular contact with family members.

Alameda should be considered armed and dangerous at this time. No attempt should be made to apprehend him. Anyone with information of Alameda's location should contact Crime Stoppers at (409) 833- TIPS (8477).

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest of Alameda and any other wanted fugitive.
