Groves Police calls, July 24 through July 30

GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from July 24 through July 30

Wednesday, July 24

• A window was broken on a building in the 5500 block of 25th Street.

• A 19-year-old male was arrested on outstanding Jefferson County warrants after officers were called about a suspicious person in the 4600 block of Twin City Highway.

• A black medical bag containing supplies, music CD’s and sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of Lay Avenue.

• A juvenile was reported as a runaway.

 

Thursday, July 25

• A 28-year-old male was arrested on outstanding Port Arthur Police Department warrants after a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Owens.

• A utility trailer with a Gravely lawn mower and a Snapper lawnmower were stolen from the 5700 block of 32nd Street.

 

Friday, July 26

• A 41-year-old male was arrested on outstanding Beaumont Police Department warrants in the 6100 block of 39th Street.

• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.

• A 35-year-old male was arrested for outstanding PAPD warrants in the 6100 block of 39th Street.

• A criminal trespass warning notice was issued in the 4800 block of Pure Atlantic Road.

• A window was broken on a house during a disturbance in the 6200 block of 32nd Street.

• A red 2012 Rock Star child’s four wheeler was stolen from the 6400 block of 32nd Street.

• A Craftsman generator was stolen from a garage in the 2500 block of Crescent.

• A disturbance was reported in the 3700 block of Hayes.

 

Saturday, July 27

• A 23-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5200 block of East Parkway.

• A 42-inch LG flat screen TV was stolen from the 6800 block of Terrell.

• A juvenile was arrested for assault/family violence.

 

Sunday, July 28

• A criminal trespass warning notice was issued in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.

• A 48-year-old female was arrested for Port Neches Police Department warrants in the 2600 block of Third.

• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.

• Power tools were stolen from the 4600 block of Beaumont.

 

Monday, July 29

• A 12-inch Dewalt chop saw was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulf.

• A 1994 Honda motorcycle was stolen from the 6800 block of Browning.

• A criminal trespass warning notice was issued in the 5000 block of 32nd Street.

• Gold jewelry was stolen from the 5000 block of Park.

• A disturbance was reported in the 6300 block of Plaza.

• The report of a threat was made.

• A disturbance was reported in the 4200 block of Dogwood.

 

Tuesday, July 30

• The report of a fraud was made when a person came to the victim’s residence and caused her to change alarm companies while misrepresenting himself.
