Groves Police calls, June 18 through June 24

GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from June 18 through June 24

Wednesday, June 18

• A disturbance was reported in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway and an 18-year-old female was issued a criminal trespass warning.

• A boat battery valued at $150 was stolen in the 7000 block of Terrell.

• A 57-year-old male was arrested on outstanding City of Port Arthur warrants in the 2600 block of First Avenue.

• A disturbance was reported in the 5200 block of 25th Street.

Thursday, June 19

• A 42-year-old male was arrested for outstanding Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office warrants on Texas 87.

• A Frigidaire air conditioner valued at $250 was stolen from the back porch of a home in the 7000 block of Terrell.

• Attempted theft of a 2010 Ford pickup was reported in the 2200 block of West Parkway.  A Dewalt battery charger valued at $100, a video screen valued at $100, and a back-up light were stolen and $500 damage was done to the switch ignition.

• A disturbance was reported in the 3800 block of Kenneth.

Friday, June 20

• A 37-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 5300 block of West Parkway and fleeing a police officer.

• Someone broke out a vehicle window and busted the steering column in an attempt to steal the vehicle parked in the 2200 block of West Parkway.

• Windows were broken on a vehicle parked in the 6100 block of East Drive.

• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.

Saturday, June 21

• Medication was stolen from the 5900 block of Hogaboom.

• A Schwinn bicycle was stolen from the 3800 block of Canal.

• A 44-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 5300 block of East Parkway.

Sunday, June 22

• Jewelry was stolen from a room in the 5100 block of East Parkway.

• A 38-year-old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 5600 block of Alabama.

• A 37-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5900 block of 25th Street.
