Sheriff’s Office seeks Beaumont fugitive

BEAUMONT — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office fugitive warrant division is asking the public’s help in locating a dangerous fugitive.

Xavier Jud Sinegal, 26, is wanted for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a sexual offense.

On Jan. 8, 2013, Beaumont Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 600 Block of Euclid. The complainant told police a black male wearing a black skull cap, black jacket, black shirt and dark colored jeans had entered her residence through a window. A responding unit located Sinegal in the area matching the description. During a frisk of the subject officers located a 5-inch fixed blade knife, crow bar, several feet of rope, “KY” lubricant and a cotton sock. Sinegal was arrested at this time. He was later released on bond and is now wanted since his indictment, according to a press release from JSCO.

Sinegal is described as 5-foot 10 inches in height and weighing 195 pounds.

Sinegal is to be considered armed and dangerous. No attempt should be made to attempt to detain him. Anyone with information of his location is requested to contact Crime Stoppers at 833-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of Sinegal or any wanted fugitive.
