The National Weather Service in Lake Charles said it is monitoring minor coastal flooding along the upper Texas and southwest Louisiana coast during periods of high tide on Tuesday and Wednesday. A coastal flood advisory is in effect. Low-lying areas around Sabine Pass, Holly Beach, Cameron, Intracoastal City, Cypremort Point, and Burns Point will need to watch for minor flooding during high tide.
In addition, a cold front is expected to move across our region late Wednesday into Thursday, which will provide another round of heavy rains and potentially some strong storms.
