Nederland Police calls, July 29 through Aug. 4

NEDERLAND — Nederland Police responded to the following calls from July 29 through Aug. 4                                                

Monday, July 29

• Aggravated assault with a motor vehicle was reported in the 200 block of South Twin City Highway.

• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 3000 block of Avenue M.  

• Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 2700 block of Memphis.

• Theft was reported in the 1800 bloc of North 34th Street.

Tuesday, July 30

• Burglary of a building was reported in the 110 block of Hilldale.

• Burglary of a building was reported in the 2000 block of North U.S. 69.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 3200 block of Avenue A.

 • A person was taken into custody for a warrant other agency in the 1900 block of North U.S. 69.

Wednesday, July 31

• A person was taken into custody for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in the 200 block of Hardy.

• Burglary of a building was reported in the 3500 block of Nederland Avenue.  

• Found property was reported in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

 • A person was taken into custody on another agency’s warrant in the 200 block of Hardy.

• Forgery was reported in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

• A person was taken into custody for warrant other agency in the 200 block of Hardy.

Thursday, Aug. 1

• A person was taken into custody for criminal trespass in the 1000 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Dog at large was reported in the 3400 block of Omaha Avenue.

• Theft was reported in the 1000 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Cruelty to animals was reported in the 2700 block of Avenue D.  

• Theft was reported in the 2300 block of Avenue B.

• Theft was reported in the 1300 block of North Twin City Highway.

• An information report was made in the 400 block of North 13th Street.

• Assault causes bodily injury/family violence was reported in the 2000 block of Avenue L.

• Theft was reported in the 1800 block of Nederland Avenue.

• A dangerous dog at large was reported in the 700 block of North 23rd Street.
