  • National Reunion Association

The Port Arthur National Reunion Association will hold a meeting on Monday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at the St. Paul Methodist Church, 921 Ransom Howard in Port Arthur. They will discuss the upcoming reunion in San Fransico planned for July 2013. 982-7156.

PORT NECHES — The Zoning board of Adjustment of the City of Port Neches will meet a 6 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Port Neches City Hall, 1005 Merriman St.

  • Mid-Jefferson County Aggie Moms

NEDERLAND — Mid-Jefferson County Aggie Mom’s Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 8 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3515 Helena Ave., Nederland. New members are welcomed.

NEDERLAND — Capitol One will host the Nederland Chamber of Commerce Monthly Coffee at 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 9. The bank is located at 2950 FM 365, Port Arthur.

  • NSDAR April meeting

Captain William Sanders Chapter NSDAR will hold their April meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at White Haven on Lakeshore Drive.  Guest speaker Claire Barras will talk “All About Economics”.  The chapter is still collecting powdered drink mixes and individual coffee packs to send to our troops.

  • Home Free beneft performance

Nederland High School graduate Time Fouse is coming home to Nederland with the vocal band Home Free out of Minneapolis, Minn., for a performance at 7 p.m. Friday, April 12, at the Nederland High School Performing Arts Center, 2101 18th St, Nederland. Tickets are $5, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the choral music programs at Nederland and Port Neches high schools.  The show will also feature Ned & Company and the Indian Singers which are comprised of students from the respective schools.
