Two Orange County people are behind bars on charges of possession of methamphetamine.
Detectives with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Services Division, along with the Orange County Area SWAT Team, executed a search warrant Tuesday night at a home in the 3200 block of Stephenson Road in Orangefield.
During the search, a man identified as Justin Lee Noland, 24, of Orangefield and a female identified as Amber Nichole Mcghen, 26, of Orange were found to be in possession of about 15 grams of methamphetamine, according to a press release from the OCSO.
Both were arrested and taken to the Orange County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility, where they were booked for possession of a controlled substance, a second degree felony.
Noland was arraigned by Judge David Peck, and his bond was set at $25,000.
McGhen was also arraigned by Judge Peck, but she also had two warrants out of Orange County Court of Law No. 2 for failure to appear and affidavit for release of surety for a previous possession of dangerous drugs case. Her bond was set at $40,500. Both Noland and McGhen remain in custody at the Orange County jail.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by detectives from the City of West Orange and Orange Police Departments.
