PA man threatened with knife has truck stolen

PORT ARTHUR — A man was threatened with a knife and had his vehicle stolen on Sunday.

At approximately 8:11 p.m. Port Arthur police responded to a 911 call regarding a aggravated robbery at the Gulfway Market in the 3800 block of Gulfway Drive.

Officers spoke with the victim who stated he was threatened with a knife during an argument and his truck was stolen by the suspect, according to a PAPD press release.

A witness also reported seeing the victim being hit twice before being threatened with the knife and having his truck stolen.

After receiving a description of the vehicle, officers found the truck about 10  minutes later parked in the 2400 block of Gulfway Drive. A possible suspect was identified at that time but was released pending further invesitgation.
