Nederland Police calls, April 15 through April 21

NEDERLAND —  Nederland Police responded to the following calls from April 15 through April 21                                                   

Monday, April 15

• Two runaways were reported in the 600 block of South Memorial Highway.  They were later located.

• Terroristic threat/family violence was reported in the 3700 block of Nederland Avenue.

• A sexual assault was reported in the 2200 block of Avenue H.

• An assault causes bodily injury/family violence was reported near 20th and Helena.

Tuesday, April 16

• Attempted theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of South 15th Street.

• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of North 22nd Street.

• An attempted theft of wire was reported in the 300 block of North U.S. 69.

• Found property was reported near Twin City Highway and Boston Avenue.

• Forgery financial instrument was reported in the 1000 block of Avenue B.

• Theft was reported in the 2700 block of Avenue G.

• Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 2700 block of Avenue G.

• Online harassment was reported in the 1100 block of South 14th Street.

• Found property was reported in the 1800 block of Detroit.

• A person was arrested on a warrant other agency in the 700 block of North 10th Street.

Wednesday, April 17

• An information report was made in the 100 block of Nederland Avenue.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

• Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 1300 block of Kent.

• An information report was made in the 1300 block of Boston Avenue.

Thursday, April 18

• Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 2600 block of Avenue D.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1400 block of Avenue M.

Friday, April 19

• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1500 block of South 29th Street.

• Fraud was reported in the 3300 block of North Twin City Highway.

• Telephone harassment was reported in the 1600 block of North 26th Street.
