PORT ARTHUR —
Port Arthur police were dispatched to Tekoa Academy at 8:41 a.m. Friday in reference to a threat. Officers responding found a crude handwritten message on the wall of the boys restroom with no specific threat to any identified person.
The Port Arthur Fire Department used a bomb detection dog throughout the entire complex and found the school to be safe. The school was evacuated early and students were released early. There were no injuries.
