Groves Police calls, June 19 through June 25

GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from June 19 through June 25



Wednesday, June 19

• Criminal mischief to a yard was reported Resident in the 4800 block of Kent after someone drove through causing $50 damage.

 

Thursday, June 20

• Unauthorized charges on a debit card totaling more than $400 was reported in the 6200 block of Dave.

• A criminal trespass warning was issued to a 25-year-old female in the 4500 block of Karen.

• Identity theft sing personal information without consent was reported.

• A Notebook computer valued at more than $340 was reported in the 6300 block of Madison.



Friday, June 21

• A disturbance was reported in the 2600 block of Twin City Highway.

• Several items, including two Razor electric scooters, Craftsman lawnmower weed eaters, edgers, crawfish boiling pot, Laser tag game and a chain saw were stolen from the 5500 block of Sonnier Lane.

 

Saturday, June 22

• Cash was stolen from a building in the 6400 block of 39th Street.

• A blue Mongoose 20-inch bicycle was stolen from the 6500 block of Adams.

• An assault was reported in the 3800 block of Stuart.

• A citizen reported being the victim of identity theft when someone used her identification to pick up prescription medication.

• A 33 year old male was arrested on an outstanding Port Arthur Police Department warrant in the 5400 block of Marty.

 

Sunday, June 23

• A 19-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding Port Neches Police Department warrant in the 5600 block of West Washington.

• Criminal mischief was reported in a residence in the 3800 block of Stuart.

• A citizen reported seeing a male inside his garage in the 2000 block of Owens carrying several items of clothing. The suspect dropped the items and fled.

• A brown and orange colored Panama Jack bicycle was stolen from the 4500 block of Main Avenue.

• A pet lizard, described as a Blue Tongue Skink, approximately 21-inches, long was stolen from a cage in the 4900 block of Simpson.

• A green 14-foot Monark aluminum boat, motor and trailer were stolen from the 3600 block of Canal.

 

Monday, June 24

• Two people were arrested for outstanding Port Arthur Police Department warrants after a traffic stop in the 6100 block of Garner. One of the subjects was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

• A 37-year-old male was arrested on outstanding Groves Police Department warrants in the 6000 block of Monroe.

• A 21-year-old female was arrested for assault in the 3100 block of Canal.

• Drills and plumbing tools were stolen from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Main.

• A Stihl brand backpack leaf blower, handheld leaf blower and weed eaters were stolen from a locked trailer in the 2200 block of Curt Drive.

 

Tuesday, June 25

• One hundred eighty metal rebar stirrups were stolen from a construction site in the 5200 block of 32nd Street.

• An assault was reported in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
