PORT ARTHUR — A 26-year-old Port Arthur man died Sunday afternoon after his car entered the canal and sent underwater.

The deceased has been identified as Mikel Anderson.

The Port Arthur Police Department were called at approximately 5:42 p.m. to an area near the cloverleaf of Texas 73 and Memorial Boulevard with a report that a vehicle was in the canal.
