LOS ANGELES — Tonight at 7 p.m. on Fox, Woodville native and former Bridge City resident Kree Harrison will fight for a Top 3 spot on "American Idol" when she performs Susan Tedeschi's "It Hurts So Bad," along with the one-hit wonder "A Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum and Annie Lennox.
Last week, Harrison performed the Black Crowes' "She Talks to Angels" and "Have You Ever Been in Love" by Celine Dion. Despite lavish praise from the judges, she landed in the bottom two. This week, Harrison will need all of Southeast Texas behind her if she is going to stay on "Idol" another week.
Viewers can vote for Harrison in four different ways. During the performance show tonight, each contestant will be assigned her own toll-free number that the viewers can dial to place their vote. To vote by text, watch for the SMS number assigned to Harrison during the show and text the word "VOTE." Viewers can also vote online at www.americanidol.com using their Facebook account, or download the American Idol app to any Android/IOS device and follow the instructions to vote there.
The voting window will open for all methods at the end of each performance show. Viewers will have at least two hours to cast their votes. Online and American Idol App Voting combined is limited to 50 votes per Facebook account ID per performance show, and closes two hours after the Hawaii broadcast.
