Shots fired at PA home, no injuries

PORT ARTHUR — Numerous shots were fired a home in Port Arthur late Sunday night but no injuries were reported.

Port Arthur Police received a call at about 11:46 p.m., June 8 from a homeowner in the 4000 block of Fifth Street stating an unknown person or person had fired numerous shots into his home, according to a press release from the Port Arthur Police Department.

Neither of the two people in the home were injured.

Officers were able to gather information at the scene and were able to recover some evidence. PAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division as well as the Street Crimes Unit are investigating the incident.

No arrests have been made at this time.
