Memorial plans homecoming week activities

PORT ARTHUR — Memorial High School celebrates homecoming this week with a variety of activities.

Monday was Class Color Day and Tuesday is Camouflage Day. Wednesday is Twin Day and Thursday is 70's Day. Friday is a student holiday/staff development day. Faculty and staff should wear school colors of red, black and silver to show their Titan pride.

The Memorial High School Powderpuff game will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, on the J.V. football field. The Memorial High School homecoming parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9. The parade will begin at  Lamar State College-Port Arthur and will conclude at the sub-courthouse off of Waco Avenue where a community pep rally will be held.

The Memorial Titans vs North Shore homecoming football game will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. The homecoming dance will be from 8 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Memorial Titan competition gym. Current MHS students are invited to attend and tickets can be purchased the week of homecoming for $6/person or $8 at the door.
