PORT ARTHUR —
Two men received non-life threatening injuries following what police describe as a family disturbance Friday night.
Police in Port Arthur received a 911 call of a man being shot at a home in the 2800 block of 10th Street at about 10:52 p.m. March 29. On arrival officers found two men lying in the front yard and both men had a bullet wound to the upper torso, according to a press release from PAPD.
The men were transported by EMS to Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
Officers spoke to witnesses and were told there had been some kind of disturbance outside the home. During the disturbance the two men were shot and the suspect fled in a white Ford pickup truck. Officers found a truck several blocks away that may belong to the suspect however the suspect was not located. The truck was recovered as possible evidence.
