Knife wielding man robs PA business

PORT ARTHUR — A man wielding a butcher’s knife robbed a Port Arthur business early Monday morning.

Port Arthur Police responded to a call of an aggravated robbery at about 3:58 a.m. March 18 at 7628 Memorial Blvd. The victim told police that a man wearing a ski mask and dressed in all black clothing entered the business armed with a butcher’s knife and demanded money from the clerk, according to a press release from PAPD. The suspect then jumped over the counter and opened the cash register removing an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

The suspect remains at large.
