Beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, sand bags will be available for citizens of Beaumont. There will be a limit of 10 bags per person. Bags and sand will be available at Fair Park on Gulf street. Everyone wanting sand bags should bring their own shovel. They should enter from the Gulf Street side and they will exit from the Plum Street side. Street and Drainage employees will be on site but citizens must be prepared to fill their own sand bags.
