Published March 28, 2008 12:00 pm - Dowden appointed Nederland interim city manager Dowden appointed Nederland interim city manager Mary Meaux The Port Arthur News NEDERLAND — Nederland City Council voted unanimously to appoint Cheryl Dowden as interim city manager on Friday. Dowden currently serves the city as assistant city manager and director of finance. She will take the new office at 5 p.m. May 16.
