A Port Arthur mother is pleading with the public in hopes of locating her missing son.
Denise Arens last heard from her son, Adam Joseph Langston, 25, on March 18. The man was in California headed for Houston, she said, and his father, wired Langston some money for gas for the trip to Houston. He was scheduled to arrive late Thursday night.
Arens said, via e-mail, that her son was supposed to keep in touch through collect calls but she did not hear from him again.
A missing persons report was filed on March 22 with the Chico California Police Department, according to a dispatcher at the department.
Langston has dark brown hair, brown eyes and is about 6 foot tall weighing between 150 and 160 pounds, Arens said. He is driving a white four-door late model Ford Taurus.
If you know of Langston’s whereabouts or have seen him, you can call Arens at 983-7876 or 293-2138 or Aren’s husband, John, at 293-2425. The family does not usually answer unknown calls so be sure to state the reason you call, she said.
