‘Obamacare’ stomps on our Constitution

We hear a lot about politics these days, so I’d like to voice some of my thoughts on the subject. Much has been said about “Obamacare.” It seems to me that it stomps on our Constitution, regardless of what the Supreme Court said about it. It is a socialistic idea. They are stomping on our Constitution, which I consider the most brilliant document ever conceived, when you consider what those people were, they were British subjects; the only government form they knew was monarchy, but they hoped for something better. If our Constitution is dead, what do we have? We don’t have “government of the people, for the people, by the people.” That leaves us open for totalitarianism. Now I’m not advocating that this country has been perfect for everyone. There is no such thing as perfection. It it’s perfect today, it won’t be tomorrow, but it has brought us to the forefront in today’s world. Proof of that is the millions who came in illegally. We made this the richest, strongest nation on the planet. I want to see this continue. We have problems, but we have always had problems and we worked them out.

I am a middle class, retired person and I am very thankful that I was born in America and can live comfortably and don’t have to depend on family or charity.

I hope you will print my letter.
