Shame, shame, shame. Here we go again. The “foot in the mouth” monster strikes again.
In last week’s Port Arthur News, Ms. Julia Samuels refers to the newly appointed principal of Sam Houston school as “This Girl.”
Ms. Samuels (Not Bitter Old Lady) please accept the fact that you are not the Port Arthur school board. Insulting a newly appointed principal by referring to her as “this girl” shows a total lack of respect for a duly appointed person in this district.
Always, always remember, Mr. Samuels, one must give respect to get respect.
I’m certain that after reading your quote in Friday’s paper Ms. Waters has formed an opinion of you and so have I. But unlike me she has too much class and common sense to take you to test in public.
Ms. Waters, congratulations. A six to zero vote is not bad. I would count it as a clean sweep.
