I also to want to ask Michelle Stoneham Barnette what projects did the Nederland ISD not complete in the previous bond issue. I did not work on the bond issue committee as Bert Rogers did but my children have been and still are in the Nederland ISD. I have seen first hand the projects that have been completed over the years and I personally know many of our current and past board members as well as the Superintendent of our Schools and our Director of Maintenance.

If Ms. Barnette was not happy with how the PN-GISD spent their money in her classroom she should not compare it with how the NISD spent its money when she has no personal knowledge of how it was or was not spent. Perhaps she should be running for the Port Neches ISD Board instead of the NISD Board.

The Current Board of Trustees in Nederland consists of Brent Weaver, Ronald Cessac, Richard Cox, Craig Belaire, George Hawkins, Suzanne Isom, and Everett Sanderson. This Board has proven itself as being able to work together for the betterment of our children in Nederland and everyone of them are outstanding business and/or professional citizens in our community.

As a resident and a current business owner in the Nederland community I urge the citizens in the Nederland ISD to go out and vote and vote to keep the incumbents on the board so they can continue to work together for our children and for the Nederland Independent School District.
