Published May 06, 2008 11:55 am - On behalf of Southeast Texas Hispanic Educational and Cultural Center Inc., I would like to express our gratitude for the support and generous donations from La Suprema Mexican Restaurant, Del Papa Distributing, Davis’ Donuts and Deli, Southeast Texas Water, HEB, Neches Federal Credit Union and Wal-Mart. Businesses support Mercado Days golf tournament panews letters Hernandez Debbie Hernandez The Port Arthur News On behalf of Southeast Texas Hispanic Educational and Cultural Center Inc., I would like to express our gratitude for the support and generous donations from La Suprema Mexican Restaurant, Del Papa Distributing, Davis’ Donuts and Deli, Southeast Texas Water, HEB, Neches Federal Credit Union and Wal-Mart. They provided our food, beverage, etc. for our third annual Mercado Days Golf Tournament held on April 12.
Due to their generous donations and many other businesses and individuals, we raised $11,000 for scholarships for local students. We were blessed to have many of our community businesses donate gift certificates, goodie bag items and prizes for our event.
