We all need to go to the polls this May and elect three PAISD school board members who will be dedicated to educating our children, to fiscal responsibility and to moving Port Arthur forward. Fortunately, we have three candidates who fit that bill.
Gregory Flores has served well. He is a person of honesty and integrity, works hard, is knowledgeable and is committed to having a first class education system. He deserves to be reelected.
We need to replace the two other incumbents with Lloyd Marie Johnson and Kenneth Marks. They are both independent of all special interests and are committed to return the school board to its proper role. Both Kenneth Marks and Lloyd Marie Johnson have the knowledge, ability and willingness to tackle the many problems of the PAISD.
If we elect all three, Flores, Marks and Johnson, we will see the board return to a position of trust and respect by our community and by the stare officials now overseeing us. Please support the re-election of Gregory Flores and also support the election of two new trustees, Lloyd Marie Johnson and Kenneth Marks. Election day is May 13 and early voting started May 1.
