Those of us who have been around PAISD for as many years as I have know how things were usually done. Many times promotions were given on the basis of who you knew, who you were related to, basically whether you were in the favor of those in control. Now, in the age of accountability, it can’t be that way anymore. Every decision must be financially responsible even if it is unpopular. 

Finally, we have a school board that wants to put a stop to all of the favoritism, nepotism, and political, personal profiting. Those who have been in power aren’t able to put themselves first anymore, and now they are using so called community leaders to attack every positive change attempted under the guise of “protecting the children.”

Don’t be fooled by false prophets who seek to stop the educational reform that must be continued if we are to save our school district and our community. After all, it is not about the vocal minority anyway; it is about the students. Vote to keep strong, honest, responsible leadership. Keep Donna Worthington and Lonnie Linden on the PAISD school board.
