All propositions except 7 should fall

Well, Port Arthur Citizens, a year has passed since we were asked to vote on Propositions in an election. As always, I have read and re-read the suggested propositions and their validity and I offer the following opinions:
Proposition No. 1: I will personally vote "No" on this proposition, and on all the other propositions except Proposition 7.
On Propositions No. 2 and 3, I am not in favor of amending the City's Charter to extend term limits for elected officials. I believe every now and again change is good, and it gives the City new ideas and prospective.
On Proposition No. 6, I do not think the “standard" for the Mayor and council members salaries and car allowances should be changed.
On Propositions 8 and 9, The Section 4A Sales and Use Tax was set up to bring jobs and companies to Port Arthur to employ our citizens. I feel that these funds should be used for that purpose.
Remember Port Arthur Citizens - "You" are the taxpayers. You have the power, by voting early or on Election Day May 13, to use your vote to decide how your hard earned money is spent!
I endorse Lonnie Linden and Donna Worthington for the school board and Maria Block and Bob Williamson for City Council.
