Oil barons get what they want

— It's happened. The oil barons have finally gotten exactly what they've always wanted via the most “unenvironmental” president in our history. Gas prices soar, yeah right — driven by the market — and oh, our profit margin — well, uh!
Our president announces unconvincingly that he'll relieve those of us planning to buy used Mopeds to save on gasoline by relieving the poor, overburdened oilmen/cronies of those nasty old burdens of clean air restrictions. So, if the gas prices or our unsafe two-wheeled vehicles don't kill us, the air quality — already bad enough — will!
These guys lobbied to keep from having to comply with environmental rulings and so now, under the guise of "relieving Americans," these oil contributors and their favorite "good old boy" get exactly what they've always wanted.
I won't be holding my breath to see how quickly oil prices go down, but it's a thought.
