The fourth annual Relay For Life Scholarship Pageant was held Saturday, May 29, at Central Middle School Auditorium. Seventy young ladies competed for the title of Little Miss, Duchess, Countess, Junior Miss, Princess, and Queen of the Mid and South County Relay For Life supporting the American Cancer Society. The Van Buren Buddies Relay For Life Team wants to thank everyone who supported this effort by their donations, attendance and also to the contestants who participated in the pageant.
The winners received crowns, sashes, and trophies. All participants received a trophy. The Queen and her runner-ups also received scholarship given by Brammer, Begnaud, & Lattimore, Certified Public Accountants & Consultants, Golden Triangle Federal Credit Union, Bailey-Buchanan Masonry, and Debbie’s Dance, Etc. We wish to thank these sponsors for their generosity.
