Groves Police calls, July 9 through July 15

GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from July 9 through July 15

Wednesday, July 9

• Copper wiring was stolen from the 5500 block of 39th Street.

• A window screen was cut on a house in the 6400 block of Verde.

• A travel trailer battery was stolen from the 4700 block of Lawndale.

• An assault was reported in the 3100 block of Oak.

• A 31-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 6300 block of Warren.

• An assault was reported in the 3800 block of Boyd.

• A collection of sea shells were stolen from the 3200 block of Allison.

• Tools and a fishing rod and reel were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6700 block of 25th Street.

• Cash was stolen from a building in the 3300 block of Twin City Highway.

• A vehicle parked in the 5700 block of Gulfway Drive was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.

Thursday, July 10

• An assault was reported in the 5600 block of Carolina.

• A hand-held air compressor was stolen from a garage in the 6400 block of Verde.

• A threat report was made by a citizen.

• A disturbance was reported in the 3100 block of Main.

• A 31-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 5300 block of 25th Street.

Friday, July 11

• A 40-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5500 block of 39th Street.

• Cash was stolen from a vehicle in the 5500 block of West Washington.

• A vehicle parked in the 5500 block of West Washington was entered and rummaged through. Nothing appeared to be missing.

• An assault was reported in the 3800 block of Lincoln.

• Several money orders were stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

• A criminal trespass warning notice was issued to a person in the 5000 block of Monroe.

Saturday, July 12

• A 35-year -ld female and a 29-year-old male were arrested for assault in the 4700 block of Main.

• Someone scratched a vehicle parked in the 3200 block of Maple.

• Criminal trespass warning notices were issued to persons in the 5000 block of East Parkway.

• A disturbance was reported in the 3900 block of Charles.

• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 3800 block of Doyle.
